Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (Conditions) set out the basis on which WOTELS (as defined below) will provide accommodation and other products and services at its properties to Customers (as defined below) and Guests (as defined below). By making a Reservation (as defined below), the Customer agrees to comply with these Conditions.

(1) Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context requires otherwise, the following terms have the following meanings:

Check-in Date means the date on which the Customer’s stay at the properties is scheduled to begin, as set out in the Reservation Details.

Reservation means the booking made by the Customer for accommodation and any other products and services detailed in the Reservation that is accepted by WOTELS.

Reservation Details means the details of the Reservation, including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the duration of the Guests’ stay at the Properties, and any other products and/or services to be included in the Reservation.

Charges means the fees payable by the Customer in relation to the Reservation.

Contract means the agreement between the Customer and WOTELS regarding the Reservation.

Customer means the person making the Reservation.

Guests means the Customer and any third parties they invite to the Properties in connection with the Reservation.

Properties means the properties owned or operated by WOTELS, the locations of which are specified in the Reservation.

(3) Taxes and payment

(3.1) The Charges will be those indicated by WOTELS to the Customer upon the Customer’s request for a Reservation (except where clause 2.6 applies).

(3.2) Unless otherwise agreed by WOTELS, the Charges cover only the provision of accommodation at the Properties, and the Customer may incur additional costs, including, without limitation, meal costs and room service (the “Additional Costs”).

(3.3) Customers will be informed of the amount of any Additional Costs before incurring them.

(3.4) Supplements for additional guests:

- Up to 12 years old:

- €30 for WOT Ericeira | WOT Lagos | WOT Costa da Caparica

- €15 for the remaining properties

Ages 6 to 11: 50% discount

Ages 0 to 5: free

(3.5) Reservations will be subject to the Customer:* making full payment of the Charges in advance or, at WOTELS’ option, paying a reservation fee and/or deposit; and* providing valid debit or credit card details through which payment of the Charges or the balance of the Charges (as applicable) and any Additional Costs can be charged at check-in at the Properties or at the time of booking.

(3.6) If not fully prepaid at the time of booking, the balance of the Charges must be paid by the Customer immediately upon check-in at the Properties. Any Additional Costs must be paid as they are incurred or, at WOTELS’ discretion, at the time of the Customer’s check-out from the Properties.

(3.7) The following payment methods are accepted by WOTELS:

(3.7.1) Credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro

(3.7.2) Cash or credit/debit cards if the Customer is paying in person at the Properties.
